Photographed during a pre-performance rehearsal at the Rex Theatre, Charlton. Internationally renowned pianist, David Helfgott, is a study of concentration as he prepared for what was to become one of his last recitals before COVID's impact closed the world in 2020. While the pandemic ended his scheduled European tour, the capacity crowd at the Rex gave the artist a prolonged and emotional standing ovation at the conclusion of the evening in recognition of his astonishing musical artistry.
